House passes historic financial rules revamp

Dec. 11: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says a sweeping overhaul of financial regulations will bring a new level of transparency and accountability to Wall Street and big banks. (NBC News)The House passed the most ambitious restructuring of federal financial regulations since the New Deal on Friday, aiming to head off any replay of last year’s Wall Street failures.
